Each chip is fuzzy-matched against the seeded Parts catalog. ICs land by manufacturer + MPN; connectors land by family + pin count.

03Substitutes link

A catalog hit opens the Part page with verified drop-in substitutes. Mismatches render the row without a link so you can pin a different photo.

04Stored for re-run

The board photo lands on the Polsia CDN. A later re-classify or a wider catalog seed re-resolves unmatched rows automatically.
